How to update your payment details

If your payment card has expired or you’d like to use a new one, you can easily update your card details through Xero’s secure billing portal.


Follow these steps:

  1. Open your latest unpaid invoice email

    • Find the invoice we sent you by email.

    • In the email, click the link that says:
      “View your bill online”.

  2. Log in to your Xero invoice page

    • The link will open your invoice in Xero’s secure portal.

    • Check that the invoice details look correct.

  3. Go to Autopay settings

    • At the top right corner of the invoice page, click on:
      “Manage Autopay”.

  4. Update your card details

    • A window will open showing your current autopay settings.

    • Select “Edit” or “Update payment method”.

    • Enter your new card details (card number, expiry date, CVV).

  5. Save changes

    • Click Save or Update to confirm your new payment card.

    • Xero will now use this card for future autopayments.

  6. Done!

    • You’ll receive an on-screen confirmation.

    • Your next invoice payment will automatically come from your new card.
