Firewall and Ports For Backup Intelligence

If your firewall is blocking access, you might encounter "not connected," "blocked" messages, an SSL certificate error or an "error 401."

Please ensure the following ports are open and allow WebSocket traffic. Additionally, disable any content filtering or deep packet inspection.

- Port 80

- Port 443

Domains to allow traffic to:

- (bi.loopbackup.com) - Admin Console and Client Authentication

- (portal.backupintelligence.com) - Admin Web Portal

- 66.114.108.4 - Storage Access

Add these domains to allow traffic:

- *.loopbackup.com

Ensure to check all firewall rules across your locations, including those set by your internet provider. This includes rules that may be scheduled to activate only at specific times or on weekends.

If Backup Intelligence is being blocked by your firewall, you may notice connection warnings, XML, or certificate SSL errors in the backup log.
