Firewall and Ports For Backup Intelligence

If your firewall is blocking access, you might encounter "not connected," "blocked" messages, or an "error 401."

Please ensure the following ports are open and allow WebSocket traffic. Additionally, disable any content filtering or deep packet inspection for the specified IP addresses:

- Port 80

- Port 443

IP Addresses and Associated Domains:

- 159.100.249.105 (bi.loopbackup.com) - Admin Console

- 176.58.113.222 (portal.backupintelligence.com) - Admin Web Portal

- 66.114.108.4 - Storage Access

Add these domains to your whitelist:

- *.loopbackup.com

Also, include these IP addresses for storage vaults located in various cities:

- Paris: 185.20.71.210

- London: 194.5.24.104

- Ireland: 217.78.12.7

- Frankfurt: 216.107.26.218
​- Los Angeles: 192.235.72.10

​- Montreal: 192.154.138.15 (not live yet)

​- Paris: tba

Ensure to check all firewall rules across your locations, including those set by your internet provider. This includes rules that may be scheduled to activate only at specific times or on weekends.

If Backup Intelligence is being blocked by your firewall, you may notice connection warnings, XML, or timing errors in the backup log.
